It made my day to see his sorry a$$ on the sideline. I didn't feel sorry for him. He is a complete fraud and was exposed as such through four very painful games to watch. By the way I hope he is not the second string qb; that should be Coleman or anyone else who can throw a football. If he loves the university so much, maybe he should go out for cheerleader.
I feel bad for the kid. No piling on needed for the young man.

Did anyone notice that he had his helmet on the entire game like he was in the rotation and expected to go in at any moment. I just thought it was funny cause he was the ONLY play with it on at times.
"I said this a long time ago -- let people doubt me all they want," said Crompton, a 6-4, 220-pound fourth-year junior at the Vols' media day Saturday morning, a few hours before the team opened preseason practice. "You'll find about me when we start playing."
That tells me a lot about what he thinks of himself.
I cannot imagine ever playing a quarterback who does not feel this way.
I saw Crompton when he played HS football. He was awesome! If that idiot Hamilton had took some of the money he spent overpaying Fulmer and brought in an offensive coordinator that had big league experience , instead of a minor leaguer, Crompton might have been a different QB. Norm Chow was living in Nashville, Did we even talk to him? I wonder how much time was spent working on the QB's when at the same time trying to implement a new offense. I hope Crompton transters to Duke and makes all american, wins the ACC and beats Fulmer in a bowl game. I won't go back to Neyland till the house is cleaned out.
Even if they do, sometimes the best thing is to keep your mouth shut until you actually prove something on the field. Self proclaimed success is nothing without actually being able to prove it. That's why I have a bigger beef with Crompton than any other QB we have had in the past 10 years.
I imagine the question asked was something along the lines of, "What would you say to the Tennessee fans out there that are worried you won't be able to fill Erik Ainge's shoes?" You think him being silent after a question like that is anywhere close to an appropriate response?
