A new hfc would still have the same player pool to pull from. The question is; Does CPF have the insight to know who the best player is for each position, not just the qb or skill positions. Hopefully he will listen to the advise of his assistants, that might have a new perspective on talant. Only time will tell or is his time about up.

Obviously the rexys, hillbillys and tvas of this board will refuse to look at anything as a reference other than 2005, but based on what TCHFCATUTK has said this offseason regarding his new offensive staff, it would seem obvious that Fulmer used the advice of Clawson to help make the decision.

decision making has never been Phil's strong suit, except of course if it's a la carte or buffet

The furthest I went was saying that it may be a concern that he may have been quick to make a decision now. But I don't know how much Fulmer's decision was influenced by Clawson's input or not. Never went as far as to say that.
