J. Crompton has managed to turn his career around and become the best....yes, I said BEST passer in the league. I still believe that Tebow is the best over-all QB, but he's never come close to making the kind of throws that Crompton has been consistenly making over the last few games. I can only wonder what his career would have been like without all the coaching issues. It's just amazing that he has a realistic shot a making it to the next lvl after the way his career started.

He really deserves credit for never giving up. I think Lane and his staff are the best thing that could've happened to him. I don't know if he'll ever play in the NFL, but I am truly glad for him that he is tearing it up in the 2nd half of the season.

I Never thought he was going to turn out this good. Whatever the new coaches did to help him worked lights out.

It seems they are makin a point of him scanning the whole field on most plays tonight. Prolly to show that un-named coach that he can do more then jus scan 1/2 the field....GO CROMPTY GO VOLS.:yahoo::pepper::clapping:

How sweet would it be if Crompton kept this up and was rated the best SEC QB at season's end. Sure would make a Tebow Heisman trophy seem like a trinket from a cracker jack box...when Crompton ends up a better QB in every stat except running.

Should make us look real good for prospects like Lemay & Bridgewater, in 2011

Mallett throws some high, but he's easily the best passer in the league.

well, this game looks very different than Wyoming game..
or the past 4 Memphis games where we barely won by a field goal.

I think Crompton will be drafted. He is a project QB but likely would have been a first rounder if Kiffin was his coach his entire career. In other words, Crompton hasn't nearly reached his ceiling yet. Nothing but upside.

If Crompton can finish 8-4 this year and win a bowl game, he's got a good chance of being picked in the later rounds in the draft.

Now just imagine where we would be if CLK had listened to 90% of this board and benched him for NS?? Crompdaddy my hats off to ya pal great turn around and I dont care if he throws 10 ints the next 3 games telling his family he should die is the most STUPID thing i have ever heard of. And if the IDIOT that did that is ever on this board I hope he sees this post.. MORON

Crompton will have a shot in the NFL.Everyone says he looks great in practice so he should blow NFL Scouts away at the work-outs.Playing well doesn't hurt either.:)
