is any one else concerned that jonathon crompton may decide to go pro if he has a very good season. He already has an nfl caliber arm and definately has the size that pro scouts are looking for. If he throws somewhere around 3 thousand yards with a good completion percentage and a good touchdown/interception ratio, he definately would be on the radar. now i do not think that this is gonna be the case, but every year there are players who kinda come out of nowhere and display enough to make the jump. IF he does go pro, is nunez our starter next year??

What a great post. I agree completely. Crompton has excellent footwork, really knows how to move around both in and out of the pocket. He is exactly what the scouts are looking for.

His attention to detail is unparalleled and he works as hard or harder than anyone I've ever seen. He would be sorely missed here due to his unheard of talents but we can all root him on when he turns pro.

The competition at that level is really high, but I think he can be one of the best there's ever been.

Here's to Jonathan Crompton's future as a professional Greased pig catcher.

i know this post has to be a joke, why would anyone draft a qb that cant even throw a five yard pass? this is stupid. if he can go pro anyone can.

Well from everything I hear he will be an All Pro Practice Squad player!

Thanks to whoever dug this little gem back up. I needed a good laugh.

And cd12 it is obvious Crompton couldn't carry the scout teams QB's jockstrap. Crompton would be a tackling dummy at best!

So you are disclaiming all the glowing reports of his work in practice?

He'll probably end up being an ESPN analyst. Any man who performs at the level he does and still firmly believes he's awesome has a seat waiting for him behind that desk.

I still believe Fulmer worries his ace in the hole "cromptinator" might leave him to go pro! Look at all the talent he has!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

The only person in the entire world that thinks Crompton will play on Sundays, is Crompton himself.

I am going to be furious if they let Crompton play and he does well against N. Ill and Phil gives us something along the lines of "I knew he would be ok, you are all idiots." Only to have Crompton suck again against Georgia in an ass whipping. Has anyone else had this thought?

He'll play on Sundays.....Flag Football League maybe.

If he was on my intramural team I wouldn't have him at QB. I'd use his size at WR. Plus, I wouldn't want to take the chance of him overthrowing a wideout by 30 yards and hitting a girl on an adjacent field. If he plays at Georgia they might have to replace some hedges.

If Crompton goes pro then UT will go undefeated for the next 10 years and will win 5 NC..Crompton is the pros what a laugh!

Crompton a pro? The passes that aren't thrown at the receiver's ankles wouldn't even land in the field of play in Canada.

NFL calibur arm???

Most NFL QB's are at least somewhat accurate and isn't "one-hopping" passes to receivers.
