Crompton reminds me a lot of the NFL version of Rex Grossman.

Amazing in practice...great throwing power, accuracy, etc.

Terrible in games. Bad decisions, bad mechanics, and bad results.

I really hope Tyler Bray can play as a TF. Gonna need him, it seems...if Stephens can't beat out Crompton...

Only thin I can compare him to come out the back ends of horses.

Something is wrong with dude, seriously. I don't think Kiffin realized who the real Crompton is.

UNCLE, UNCLE!! I love the VOLS.. I have since i was a little boy. BUT MAKE IT STOP. Dear God. Crompton is Terrible. He couldnt be a good QB in the Pee Wee league that my step son plays in.

I'm sorry but he has to throw the ball. UCLA is putting too much pressure to keep handing the ball off.

It is a travesty that the other players put their all into a game like this, and one horrible player can single handedly loose it for them. Kiffin please bench him now!

Arian Foster did not have as many bad plays in a year in which most Vol fans despised him as JC did in this one game in which he single handedly destroyed the team.

It is fun to look at his Wikipedia page right now though

Hancock did him no justice with a huge drop, Jones not practicing was very evident. Yes there were bad plays and in the past he would go into a complete shell never to be seen from again, today was different he actually balled in the fourth quarter. The very last drive he had no time to do anything.

Things are never as good or as bad as they seem.

grossman has the common sense not to solely stare down the one receiver the play is designed for and only throw it to them.

Heck, this badge show what rex's problems were:

Here is the deal. Crompton has mor physical ability than Ken Dorsey and Jay Barker combined. Mentally, he can't keep it together. Rick Clausen could at least manage the game and make good decisions.

my favorite quote from that sticker is "You gotta unleash the dragon!" followed by "F*** it, I'm going deep" and "you think a 5-yard out is going to win you a game?"
