That dude was terrible! Look I know he had some kinda of Athletic heart but what about his hands??????? Dude could not catch a cold. He missed more layups around the basket then Lofton missed Threes! Losing him and Ramar smith is a blessing, now someone with some real talent will be able to come in and play. Duke Crews could not play defense against anyone who had size and he could not shoot. This team is making a run for the National Title we dont need half ass players like Ramar Smith and Duke Crews!

I didn't say he had the best jump shot or the best hands, I said he was a physical specimen and he showed alot of heart.

I'm pretty sure he's thinking of Duke "I just clanged a dunk" Crews. I'm not so dismissive of Duke and his contribution to the team, but he did miss easy shots fairly often.

Nope Brian Williams will be a lot better this year!
Last year was his first year to ever play basketball.....
Please tell me something that Duke Crews provided that was not replaced beyond what he provided us??????

The only thing that guy did was yell at everyone on the team for his mistakes.
Was it me or everytime something did not go right on the court Duke was yelling at his own team. I guess he was trying to be a "Captain" Just me but I think you actually have to contribute to act like a Captain....

no he had only played for a couple years of HS before college. He actually started playing to lose weight

Seriously, a lot of people act like basketball savants and really think that Duke didn't provide us a service last year. Williams was not ready to play Duke's minutes last year and proved it when he did.

Beyond that and in comes Childress...and don't get me started on what a waste he is.

Gotcha I thought the story was Bruce Pearl went to NY for a Basketball Game of all the Badass players around and he saw him while recruting someone else. But I could have sworn ESPN said he never played high school ball.
I looked it up and he played 2 years of high school. My bad
