Crappy friends

Don't lend money unless you're prepared to lose it and just write it off to experience. I've had thousands of acquaintances, but only a handful of what I would call friends. And, only two that I would trust with my life. Many people have drink friends and "dope" friends. If you lend them money or property, it's best to just kiss it off from the start. Be prepared for the loss and don't whine about it or even mention it. It's a choice.

While on a break, one of my best buds told the girl that I was seeing my ex and tried to make her hate me so he could make his move.

This I can relate to. At least 5 of my friends from high school are either in jail or have been in jail at some point since high school. And almost all of them are drug related. My advice to you is drop them like dead weight. They'll only bring you down.

This is basically happening to me right now, that's all my friends do. None of them have grown up so I've had to write quite a few off.
