Are y’all of the opinion you want to take another shot in the dark on somebody like Tee or go get a name like Les. I’m not promoting either nor saying those are the only two by any means. Just wondering which route most are wanting to go.

Either/or. If Les Miles is hired, I’ll go fix a plate of grass and eat it. If Tee is hired, I’ll dig out my old trusty #17 jersey for every game next year.

If Dave Doeren is hired before those two, I’ll stick to highlights and may watch a game or two on tv and I haven’t missed being at or watching a game in 30 years.

This is the SEC, we play against the best team annually and others are on the way up. While we sink. WTF do you think we should do

Maybe he meant either or both.

So far, they haven't actually tried either of these options.

Although I don’t think Les is the best coach, he is a name everyone knows. He is charismatic. He could recruit to a degree. And he is available. Tee may very well be a better coach, but based on what? No data to prove or disprove it. Sumlin has handled a big program and didn’t fall flat on his face. These are all better than the guys we are interviewing now. IMO

The one that will be formally introduced after Saturday’s games are over.

Go with Les for a few years until this mess had died down and we've found a competent AD.

Tee might be ready to be HC, but that's a very big step up from where he is; he may be OK at OC (some USC comments dispute that). That doesn't address all the new responsibilities facing a HC, and he's certainly not getting anything of use from this AD.

Les might not be the world's greatest coach, but he's been pretty successful. He comes a lot closer to the proven, sure fire category that everybody here said was a requirement than Tee does.
