Craig James At the Ducks

Oregon got alot of athletes, but we have boise state defensive coordinator and they shut them down last year matter of fact they didn't even let them really get past the 40 yard line in the whole game. So Oregon better not I repeat better not think for one moment we are going to lay down against them. :good!:

IMO those are far from ugly and they sure aren't plain. Plain would be Bama or Penn st. You could throw Tennessee into the plain category as well.

Well I have perfect vision and have never worn glasses... I don't know about you.

And by plain, i mean look at the material. It looks horrible. Not to mention both the colors and color combination are all ugly.

I guess I just like to dress nice and wear stuff that doesn't look stupid. By that I mean, stuff like American Eagle and Lucky. People who make clothes and aren't blind.

They're not plain at all...that doesn't even make sense. The material in all jerseys is essentially the same. They have like 300 combinations...plain might be the worst way to describe it.

Well, whoopee freakin doo. I hope those "tight" helmets are covered in Tennessee Orange mixed with a little Neyland grass burn and blood when they leave K'town this fall. Screw their uniforms, #7 looks like the other one's Bit** to me. And screw all this negativity. if you think we're gonna get killed and these players and coaches read this crap and take stock in it, then chances are we will get killed. Come on people have just a little optimism for a change. Are you people VOLUNTEERS or are you all a bunch of whining pu**y's. Get past the negativity ..............Commish

Why? Because he is white?

Hey guys. I'm new on the site, as I wanted to talk a little Ducks-Vols football.

We didn't look as good as we do in "real" game action because of a variety of factors. For one, our star running back LaMichael James had some bruised ribs and only took a couple of carries. We obviously played a lot of backups for most of the game, and you really couldn't see the whole first team out there. Also, we weren't running our no huddle offense at full speed due to all of the play-calling not being determined yet. It's also especially hard since we are using 2 QB's (Nate Costa and Darron Thomas) that haven't had much game action before. That sums it up, we're a different team than what you guys witnessed.

To all of you guys who are assuming that Nate Costa will be our starting QB-You may or may not be correct. Darron Thomas and Nate Costa are pretty much neck-and-neck at this stage in the competition. Thomas is an athletic freak. 6'4" 210 LBS. Many describe him as being a Dennis Dixon (Legendary Oregon QB who lead the Ducks to a #2 BCS ranking late in the '07 season before tearing his ACL) clone. He runs a 4.4 40 yard dash and has a rocket arm. He absolutely tore up Wilcox's Boise St. defense in the 4th quarter of our game in '08 against them. Nate Costa is a 5th year senior who has good mobility and good arm strength, coupled with great accuracy. He has torn an ACL twice, yet he retains an ability to run the spread offense with his quickness. It's going to come down to who is more impressive with their arm and feet and who shows a better command of managing the offense and running our zone read.

More to come, I'll post something on the RB's and the O-Line here in a little bit.
