He can't get out there and throw or hand the ball off....our defense was great and the special teams looked solid!! We ran the ball well until they figured out Crompton is horrible and loaded the box!!

For a coach that went 10 - 4 last year and has only 1 losing season in 17 years (after the losing season) with a winning % above .730.....you people on here are ungrateful!! I am just glad that this message board really has no impact on the University of Tennessee!! GO VOLS!!

What you say is true but he is the one who is recruiting players like the QB who will never be able to play at this level.

They have to blame someone. What gets me is most of these very people were yelling the loudest last year about benching Ainge and going with Crompton. Now they have what they wanted and now want him benched and Stephens in.

I would surmise that the way Crompton is playing now is why he didn't play and probably why Stephens is not playing.

But hey all these people know more than our Coach.

No doubt Cromton is bad, real bad, its just an example of how little all the experts on here really know.

Perfectly executed!!

Speaks highly of the staff that the best defense that can be mustered is that we don't have any QBs better than Crompton. Of course that is due to fans booing or we would be stocked.

It's posts like this that make me sick.

I mean, are you seriously content on a coach that has a program at mid-pack at best in the SEC?

Quit giving him credit for his accomplishment, which happened TEN years ago.

10 - 4 was last year, same lines, same "kool-aid", same "Fire Fulmer" posts as last season!! And that's when we won this SEC East too I might add!!

When was the last time we represented the SEC in a BCS bowl game?

I want SEC Championships and BCS hardware. I could care less about a measily East title. We've really sunk to a real low when we've settled for an East crown as success.

Get back to reality.....the SEC has won the NC for 2 years straight and by different teams....noone is gonna just dominate the SEC like we all wish we could!!

Seriously? There's 4 SEC teams that was ranked in the top 10 last week. We're struggling to consistently make New Year's Day bowl games right now.

Reality is that we're nothing more than an average football program right now and statistics back it up.

The way this year is going, you better stock up on that cool-aid my friend. Your going to need it. There is a serious problem with this program and has been for years. Hoping it will go away if we "act like its not there" will not work. We will just have to wait and see what happens and hopes the cure is not to painful.
