Did anyone else find it odd at how happy he was? If I was CPF I would not be gleafull I would of been humble as hell. He could not stop smiling.:):):):):):):):):):):):eek:hmy:

I don't think it was the outcome of the game, I think it was the fact he thought he still had a job.

I found that odd, too. I was wondering how he could be so happy after nearly losing to South Carolina. This is how far our program has fallen.

He was smiling because he knew that if they had loss his fat butt would be out the door!!

Actually, USC is a pretty good team. The thing I fault Fulmer on is that we were up 21 to nothing and the team folded. That is absolutely unexcusable. There was not leadership at halftime. USC adapted and because our coaches aren't able to make adjustments, we suffered a total collapse and should have lost that game.

During the Phil Fulmer Show, Phil said we made no adjustments at halftime. SC evidently did. We were lucky to come away with a win. Our coaching staff does not have a clue.

I was feeling bad for Fulmer, so much had went bad this season. Regardless, of how I feel about him as a coach, its nice to see the team do well and Fulmer have something to be pleased about.

I saw the post game interview and he seemed very oddly happy to me. His team blew a 21 point lead and eeked out a win. He ought to have been expressing relief and some consternation, IMO. Not glee.

UT could have lost that game as easily as won it. To me, that's what Fulmer was happy about. He escaped with a win.

Maybe he was thinking "I got one last win against Spurrier, and it was one his team should have won. I can retire happy now"

Yeah CPF was probably just happy that he'd finally stole one away from SOS considering how many times the ole ball coach has taken ones like this from him. It just felt good to him and us fans too for getting some payback for once:dance2:

Yea he was Much happier than CMR was after the Georgia v USC Game was.

I'd like to see your faces after beating Spurrier, you'd probably be crying with joy.

My favorite Pumpkin remarks were when asked at the half how he would avoid a meltdown in the second half he replied .....There wont be a meltdown.....:eek:lol:aaaah hey Pumpkin......There was a meltdown. I can see why he was so happy.....I'll bet he had happy tears in the locker room too. Oh while im on it does anyone know where his daughter is now? Does she not run at his side after every game now?

I dont mean the thread as a negative just seemed oddly happy and not a nervous wreck. I glad we won.

I was giddy myself! You guys complain about him smiling,? USC caught us in a down year and had great chance to beat us but they still couldn't win the ballgame. USC is a program that will ALWAYS find a way to lose.

Good to be a VOL, where we suck, but still beat USC!

Because we WON THE *** *****GAME. I hear UGA needs some fans, go jump on their band wagon.

I'm not exactly sure who he's referring too. If he's referring to me then obviously he misread what I wrote. I'm stating the fact that CPF was happy because he beat Spurrier. That's more than CMR can do.

Wrong again Pumpkin head.....SC is on the way up and UT is definitely on the way down. With recruiting and coaching SC will begin to change. Spurrier has been here 3 years....the Pumpkin has been there 16 years.....Shouldnt your program be waaaay ahead of ours? ITS NOT. Times are changing.

Why should our program be way ahead?
