Serious question....

How do our defensive backs and linebackers practice against 2 of the better WRs in the country and still suck so bad against every other team we play?

How stupid can the guy be? No wonder our defense doesn't improve my God!

Yeah... Go listen to his press conference. Might have a little something to do with the reason we suck.

That explains a lot honestly. How is anyone going to get better if they are facing inferior competition on a daily basis.
I thought it was pretty standard that the 1's faced the 1's in practice. Just unreal.

(Hopefully) this can be used as another nail in the proverbial coffin.

Really? No wonder we get destroyed every game. Let them learn how to stop players with skill in practice and it'll probably translate to the field.

That is just idiotic.

It's Dooley we're talking about... A sub 500 coach from the WAC...

He will be a Heisman candidate next year. He can affect a game by rushing, receiving, and special teams. His debut against Oregon will gain national attention, and will get the ball rolling. Thoughts?

Pracice vs the scout team is pretty standard based on personal experience. The scout team emulates the play style of the opponent. You do not train to play yourself.

I'd agree but also think it's more likely he's heading to the NFL.

I think he would no doubt get drafted, just for his playmaking abilities alone. His route running needs a lot of work though. I wish the young man the best, whatever he chooses to do.
