CP is averaging 24 yards each time he touches the ball, so far.

30 yard average - rushing
18.2 yard average - receiving
35.3 yard average - kick returns

He needs at least 10 touches against the Gators.

I would hope he gets 7-9 catches, maybe 1 or 2 rushes..
and i really hate when stars play special teams (injury risk) but in this big of a game, i wouldnt mind to see him return a kick or two..

Needs to double those receiving yards average

He's gonna get a ton of touches Sat, they got JHunt warmed up last week and let CP rest and avoid injury, I think he'll be all over the place.

I definately want to see him explode in the second half like JH did last week. We need both of them showing out this week.

Can't wait to see this guy against an SEC defense...if these numbers continue...look out...ESPN will be all of this guy until it's sickening

He should do to FL like Percy Harvin did to us. I think he's better than Harvin. Go get em CP, Hunter, Bray, & Co.

I really hope Florida is forgetting about Rivera. He is the X factor saturday

can i like this more than once?

I think Fla will run alot of cover 2 type zone, bend but dont break, make bray progress and be patient, safeties over the top dont get beat deep.. rivera could get some real nice matchups

I like this....and maybe throw in a little 6'5" Jason Croom on a slant or two.

Parcells whose opinion I always valued, has said that true return stars do it at all levels. If they are special in high school and are also in college, they will be great return guys in NFL.

I agree with OP...gotta feed him the ball.

CP isn't the fastest WR we've ever had here (of course we've had some stupidly fast Vols in the past) but I don't think I've ever seen his degree of vision/elusiveness to go along with that kind of speed. (consistent sub-10.7, multiple sub-10.6) Throw in the fact that it appears he can actually run patterns and catch (as opposed to, say, Leonard Scott and Kenny O'Neal) and you've got the makings of an awfully good WR. It pains me to think we may well be looking at a one-and-done scenario with him though.

He's plenty fast, Deanthony Thomas runs a 10.57 100M, CP has ran faster than that and he's 30 pounds heavier.
