While last season was a disappointment, we can all agree on that. The editorial given by Coweherd is uncalled for and just plain poor journalism. I know he is one of the many "shock jock" sport show hosts, but he has zero facts or knowledge of what our University reagents or athletic dierector are thinking or planning. It is just unresponsible and quite frankly makes him look small and insignificant to take what appears to be a personal vendetta against any coach on a national show.

It wouldn't surprise me if we end up 8-4......

with loses to Umass, Vandy, Ky, and Missouri. Just seems to be the way it goes with Butch.

Colin Cowerd is just wanting to be dramatic to increase his ratings. Say what you want about Butch Jones but Neyland Stadium has had butts in the seats since he has been here.

I don't know enough about John Currie as far as how fast he pulls the trigger on firing coaches, but if the donors want a change, there will be one.

Butch is safe based on what he has done so far, it seems.

I was just messing around. I don't expect to lose to any of those scrub teams. I would be shocked if any of those end up as a loss. We have lost or had a close call about every way possible these past 2 years.

121 will play with a purpose and I expect us to see how great they can be. The sky is the limit.

It is a bad day in UT Sports when a thread on this board says "Cowherd". It would have been more interesting if it said Coward or Cowheard

I think Currie's first fire will be Holly if she doesn't have a great season imo.
