Cowherd picks NIU on the spread

Well, you were right - I didn't see Ole Miss coming out of the Swamp with a victory. That being said, the Vols are surely going to wake up and put a smackdown on NIU. I really believe that we will be in a comfortable lead by halftime. At least I hope like hell we are :)

y'all, I got a bad feeling about this game. I think fulmer has lost this team and we could find ourselves on the ugly end of a bad upset today. I hate to say it, but I know I can't be the only one thinking it:frown:
Welcome to Volnation. Nice avatar!

I don't think we lose, but I do expect a very lackluster game, something like 24-14.

you know, if we lose to NIU...wouldn't foolmer pretty much be forced to resign next week? if thats the case....go NIU?

What does everyone else think?

Cowherd said NIU will cover the spread, but won't beat UT.

Will we cover the spread of 15.5?

As a UT fan I would ove to say we will score a 100 points but if I had to put money on the table, UT won't cover the spread.

It'll depend on if Fulmer plays to win or plays not to lose. If we see 2-4 yard passes all day then we'll know.

Look at not just Stephens but Creer as well. Both have allot to prove and the offense knows this game is about them. I hope we see the Stephens to Warren at least 3-4 times. It's there.

I look for a big day from Creer. I think this could be his breakout game. Stephens will do OK. We will win big. At least we should?

It's going to still be a long year. Stephens will need time and that is something the fans and the coaching staff don't have.

Even if we do muster the win,how much celebrating is there cause for?If we can miracle up a win next week against Georgia then that would give reason to cheer and give me another 365 days here in Georgia to hold my head up.

That's what I'm talking about. Beat Georgia or Bama, a win over NIU does nothing for me.
