Can’t blame them what else is there to do in any part of that hell hole state of Mississippi. Last in everything. Been to Jackson lately?I hate them. I know that's some old man stuff, but damn if that constant bell ringing is not just trash. In person or on TV, it sucks. The rule is
Allowed times:
Fans are permitted to ring cowbells during pre-game, timeouts, halftime, and after a Mississippi State score.
They ring them non-stop though.
They should be outlawed. I don’t know of any other team that is allowed artificial noise.I hate them. I know that's some old man stuff, but damn if that constant bell ringing is not just trash. In person or on TV, it sucks. The rule is

They still lost so I don’t care.I hate them. I know that's some old man stuff, but damn if that constant bell ringing is not just trash. In person or on TV, it sucks. The rule is

Even watching the game on TV, they're really hard to take. I can't imagine being at the stadium and honestly, I'd probably take earplugs in order to make it through the game.I hate them. AFAIK there were a lot of Tennessee fans with cow bells so it could’ve been us you were hearing. That’s why the announcers thought MSU hit the missed fg I think. They were super annoying on the radio because they’d start ringing them once the ball was snapped so you weren’t sure if they made a big play or we did. They were ringing them like crazy when Hood got the pick 6. It was the dumbest thing ever lol
It’s like a bunch of brainwashed plebs. Durrr must ring bell! Must ring bell!
Yep, probably the second most irritating tradition in the SEC.I hate them. I know that's some old man stuff, but damn if that constant bell ringing is not just trash. In person or on TV, it sucks. The rule is

It was even difficult to watch on t.v. & listen to the Vol Network with the hideous cowbell din. I recall a time when cowbells & other artificial noisemakers were banned, but the ban was lifted. The SEC banned cowbells, which is one symbol that is recognized to stand for MSU, from 1974-2010. Anyhow MSU fans can take 'em back home & entertain at their dinner parties. They ring them between every play. It appears they do stop as our offense is snapping the ball though. Have never understood how artificial noisemakers of any type are allowed. Would they allow 100,000 of us to bring air horns to Neyland?
