The facts.

Will CCM get a raise and extension? Yes
Will UT lose the majority of its talent? Yes
Is the talent coming in to replace it mid-major level talent? Yes.

Asside from Hubbs, this team will be loaded with marginal players who are better to fill out a Mizz State roster than a UT roster.

UT has done nothing impressive to warrant a bid. It's just that the conference really is that bad. And, the at large field, according to the experts, is the worst we've seen in years.

So many Tennessee fans are "in the moment" and can't see the "big picture." This team has won a few games against NIT and lower teams and some fans think we are back!!! lol! This team, directly because of Martin does not deserve to go to the NCAA tournament, period. This team is poorly coached with good players. Next year is going to be a disaster!

Wilbikins contributions aren't always on the stat sheet. If he was on a team that needed additional o I bet he would get more respect.

If Tennessee played with the confidence intensity and purpose they played with against Their previous 4 games floridas best game would not beat them. Unfortunately when you get in your head that this Is some monumental task you can't play your best. I knew we were in trouble when I heard mcrae and stokes had been hyping inferior players like wilbekin and frazier. Mcraes halftime speech was strange as well. Just blow them out.

To be fair, the way UK is playing they can beat us tomorrow. Ditto for Louisville if we play them in the Big Dance.

Hell, a UK loss tomorrow might be a good thing.

But it's pure idiocy to suggest that the #1 team in the country "isn't all that good", or UF "won't make it past the Sweet 16" before the brackets are announced.

I said you won't make it to the final four. If you get lucky enough not to have any of the 9 or 10 teams mentioned above in your bracket maybe you will. But the first time you play zonal or louisville you lose by double digits.

If you could combine both u might have something. But Aaron c can't score if his driving lanes are shut down. And Russ Smith can't create and make others better like wilbikin. So it's about perspective.imo

Aaron craft and Russ smith are better than Scottie wilbikin. I'm sure you can find something that wilbikin is beterr than them at. It doesn't change that obvious.

Smith is a score first point guard, not a distributor like Wilbekin or Craft. Donovan's system doesn't call for the PG to score 42 points.

Wilbekin and Craft are "pure" point guards. Both are very solid.

Wilbekin is a better defender than both. McRae would have eaten Craft or Smith alive today.

Which is why he stopped the clock twice yesterday while they were ahead, with fouls. He is a great defender but he can't do the things wilbi can offensively or defensively. I will grant u craft is consistently more effective on d. But when it come to needing points craft is a liability. Wilbi is not.
