The statements that get blasted are unreasonable ones. Plenty of posters here make valid arguments against Martin all the time, and even the biggest Cuonzo fans agree with valid criticisms.

You are a reject. Tennessee is better than Florida in so many areas. Just because Florida has overachieved and Tennessee has underachieved doesn't make this garbage ok. If you don't think that Tennessee should be highly competitive with Florida than you don't understand the game. Tennessee should have beaten Florida by 15 today as a matter of fact.

I didn't see any cowards out there today. I saw us hit the #1 team in the mouth. Some mistakes were made and we lost. We get to play next week because we are NOT cowards! Go Vols!!!

If you're referring to the coaching search I wasn't one of the people that claimed to be an insider. I was simply a spectator that wanted Gruden.

However you seem to remember pretty well. Who are you again? I recognize your stupid av but that's about it.

They did, but the adjustments made by Donovan were key, Martin as usual had no answer. Martin's teams always seem to play their worst basketball during crunch time!

Congrats to UF on the victory today! Good luck tomorrow, and in the NCAAT!

This thread should be deleted. We have rules against personal attacks on players. If you want to critique their play or mental toughness, that's fine. But calling them cowards is nothing but a cheap shot. If you want it to stay, you should change your trolling title.

I don't think Donovan adjusted one iota. Florida just came out and played marginally better in the second half and the press worked a couple more times.

1. Not sure why you think the Martin supporters angle is ridiculous. Fact is that there is a small contingent of posters on the bball forum that do nothing but seek out those who post anything anti-Martin and attempt to run them off the board. I find it comical...but they also should expect it coming right back at them after a loss.

2. Agree about calling players cowards or idiots....which I have never done.

What so if I said bad performance that would be calling the players bad. Its your message board, you cant do whatever you want. If you are happy with what you saw and are seeing and want to silence those who aren't I guess you have that power.

They had zero points in the paint in the first half, and in the second they took the ball right at Stokes and Maymon to score, and get both in foul trouble, it was the difference in the game IMO.

There is nothing ridiculous about it. Mcrae and Stokes are better than anyone Florida has on their team. Tennessee is more athletic than florida, physically stronger than florida, and apparently far weaker mentally than florida. Florida may have went undefeated but they are far from an all time great SEC team and Ill guarantee you right now that they will not be in the final four. The idea that it is impossible to make them pay for that press is just absurd. the idea is to fire passes on a line to the open man as the trap/double team comes, not wait for it to come and then lob it to the open man. There are teams that will dunk on florida all night.

Right. Because that's what I said. And for the record, I'm one of Martin's biggest critics.

I think "cowardly" is a cheap shot. But keep going. I'm still waiting for you to explain how we didn't go toe-to-toe with Florida.

I don't know that Donovan did anything earth shattering in the 2nd half, other than dial up the press after makes.

Ray Charles could see that coming.

I think it was appropriate. Going toe to toe to me makes it sound as if there was some sort of give and take. I didn't see a back and forth game for 40 minutes. I saw a nice first half and a slow painful death in the 2nd half.
