Couple Things Being Reported...

HH and Chaney are good coaches and next year will show it. Numerous factors led to the failure of this season, most of which were out of their control. Imagine developing schemes based around some of your best players (i.e. Bray, Hunter, Rogers), just to have two of them taken out of the equation and having to make considerable changes mid-season...along with a young team, relatively new playbook, relentless schedule, depth issue, etc...give the guys a BREAK...

Frankly, I've come to the realization that college football is about 98% Jimmys and Joes and 2% Xs and Os. Fulmer and staff were not, in any way (maybe except Cutcliffe), the best X and O guys. They just had better players.

Wow...almost speechless. So guess Vandy success this year was attributable to all those stud recruiting classes. Plus Miami and FSU recruiting classes have paid off so well.

Give me a break. Football is almost always about schematic advantage (See Alabama second half adjustments all year).

no that "success" can be attributed to a terrible schedule and beating no one of any worth

He does know his job is on the line? Another 6 win season will mean his end in coaching at UT. Better yet a loss to the Gators next season in game 3 will surely mean fan defection.

Whats your take on UT's schedule next season?

Compared to this year's, I'll take it. Our SEC West rotation is much better!

I was hoping with the addition of some new teams to the SEC we could play Kentucky earlier and push Florida later in the season.

Oh well, not this next season anyway.

nope talking about the hysteria over a Vandy coach making a bowl with no wins over a winning team

definitely easier than this year's
Easiest I have ever seen (UT wise) so the Frankliteers could be using the same argument againts us.

The coaching of our O-line by this staff has been abysmal. Keeping HH on board is basically saying 'we're ok with ineptitude'.

Smh at not getting rid of Harry. Keeping him will most likely seal Dooley's fate imo. Hope I'm wrong, but using this season as a measuring stick, we may be even worse in the run game next year.

So instead of 117 out of 120, we will be 118 out of 120?

Poole couldn't break out of a wet paper bag this year. Surely, a completely healthy Lane along with some of the new RBs coming in can be better (or moving Neal back to RB or at least using him as some type of hybrid H-back). I don't mean top 10 or 20...hell, I'd take top 50.
