:salute:I am not an everyday poster. I have lurked around and read threads and have come to realize, we are in fact a very passionate fanbase. The best in the nation imo. I am from the St. Louis area, it sickens me to see our beloved VOLS talked down about. This is just a rant from a fan who wants us to win as much as all of you. Hell i cant spell worth a crap. And alot of yalls abbreviations still have me confused, but dang it i just want it back to the good ol days. We have been blessed with this message board to speak our minds and bash, or bless what we please. The saying of SEMPER FIDELIS... Its a saying i learned awhile ago. USMC. Sgt. I think we need to think about what this means and practice it. We are VOLNATION by god. We will get through this and we will rise again. So come on guys and gals. Lets stand behind our team. Our University. Lets show everyone who likes trolling our boards, likes talking trash that it wont be tolerated. Some of you will flame this post. And thats your right. But just my 2 cents. For the record I never said that Butch took a "shot" at MC - Im actually in the crowd that says that something probably happened, tempers flared, not so kind words exchanged, threats made and even possibly some kind of scrum. And it was probably a misunderstanding that got a bit of hand - which both regret. But you and I both know that in this day in time incidents oftentimes have unintended consequences which unfortunately grow larger than the parties can contain.

My real question is why now - why at this juncture? Who stands to gain from this?

I go to church with a player. He got a text and had to leave out early for a team meeting. Somebody said later they always meet on Sunday night, but the time had gotten moved up unexpectedly. Never heard what it was about. I won't see said player again until Sunday night.

Not a clue. I'm not the only person to speculate how weird the timing of this coming out now is however.

I have no knowledge of a Fulmerite nor a Gruderian subplot to this whole drama.

If this is the case, it shows that Butch is still cleaning up garbage from the previous coaching regime. He will get at least 4 years minimum to stabilize the roster and try to win with his own classes.

Not at all...I have stated I want it to go away, and let's get on with the season. However, there is no reason not to engage in the existing discussion.

Would like to know the answer to your question myself. The Sullins twins were more worthy than Crowder, Wiesman, and whoever else - and we know how overmatched they were. It's really pitiful. I wish they'd bench the whole bunch and play Richmond, Jones, Mosley, and Hall. Enough is enough.

You all are killing this program not Butch. Spreading this rumor, calling for him to be fired, questioning his every move..etc. recruits are going to turn, opposing coaches are going to use this. Be mad if you want. Talk to or gripe to your buddy at the water cooler, but stop this senseless posting.

Dude....same challenge as yesterday. Please provide an example from this thread where I'm pushing an agenda or narrative. You won't....because you can't. I'm just here talking like everybody else, and I'm just as in the dark as everybody else.
