I said last night that this was probably exactly the case and the Crowders are smearing the program, so until SteelerVol wants to make a statement towards what Skeeter has said, I'm standing by that.

lol imo half of the upperclassman olinemen should be thankful they're playing because they're being out worked by the younger guys. Wish Tennessee had about 4 more Jack Jone's, that kid is nasty nasty nasty.

One of 2 types of altercation happened here it seems:

1) cbj struck or punched a player

OR

2) CBJ was involved in a heated verbal conformation where he did lay his hands on a player. This is skeeters and others story.


Either way there is ZERO good that cAn come of releasing the video of the incident.

Make a statement that there was no wrong doing found and move on but we damn sure don't need such a video out there for recruiting against us.

But Gunner says it didnt happen and there is no evidence that any altercation occurred because MC, nor his father will release a denial or confirmation of the incident. And additionally because SteelerVol will not respond to his rabid interrogation despite the fact that SteelerVol has posted numerous times within this thread about the incident and what was related to him.

I will comment and say that last season the environment inside the locker was extremely toxic. There was almost a full on revolt in which resulted in players transferring. Coaches on staff basically came to Butch and told him had to change the way he treated and talked to players. He had a "come to Jesus" moment with the team in the lead up to fall camp and the supposed incident that cause 3 offensive linemen to not go to practice for 2 days.

Are these the same 3 OL who are getting their ass kicked every critical down? Inquiring minds want to know.

That said if there was an altercation and it was caught on tape it will not see the light of day.

I would suspect that the AD would release a statement as you suggested to quash it. I do find it interesting that it came out at this juncture - seems like a move that someone would make to gain position or advantage.

What are you talking about? I'm not part of this story. The only thing I stated was a meeting was called at an irregular time Sunday night. I'm just part of the discussion, and giving my opinion.

What exactly do you think the Crowders' would stand to gain by smearing the program or MC for that matter. If that is the motivation then why would they wait this long to attempt to smear the program. Why not "blow the lid off" when it occurred - when MC and at least two other players walked off the field. The media reported their absence. Would have been the perfect time to drop a bomb on ol Butch.....

I go to church with a player. He got a text and had to leave out early for a team meeting. DeerPark said later they always meet on Sunday night, but the time had gotten moved up unexpectedly. Never heard what it was about. I won't see said player again until Sunday night.

I thought he must have answered after reading your post.
I'm not sure what you are talking about but I just clicked on Steelers posts.
He gave no info whatsoever... about anything... other than just saying "it happened".
Do you mind to clarify what was related to him?
