Couple of crazy rumors floating around...

Such as who and what did they say? It's hard to regard much of what you say as fact when you're not naming any names anywhere. Stokes will never give up his source so unless a video surfaces (presuming there was an incident) or Mack Crowder wants to address it (unlikely, at least during the season), this will stay filed in the rumor mill.

Look, I'm not nieve, I understand that people will defend their own. But honestly this quote does make me feel better. Well when Crowder ' s dad was asked about the abuse he said "no comment". If this was nothing he would say it's ridiculous and that it never happened.

No he was not the source to that claim. They may link him but the title was a complete fabrication to get people to click

This is well beyond ridiculous. Where was all the concern for the players well being in August when the alleged incident occurred? IMHO, this train is being driven by Seth Stokes and other Butt Hurt Vol fans who are angry about being 2-3 on the season. I don't like being 2-3 either, but I'm not about to jump on this train.

Please read where the media has been aware for months and have been trying to corroborate what exactly happened before "breaking" it. Is it possible that Stokes was the first to get more than the initial info, that all were aware of?

I will comment and say that last season the environment inside the locker was extremely toxic. There was almost a full on revolt in which resulted in players transferring. Coaches on staff basically came to Butch and told him had to change the way he treated and talked to players. He had a "come to Jesus" moment with the team in the lead up to fall camp and the supposed incident that cause 3 offensive linemen to not go to practice for 2 days.

Just curious how you know this.

He cannot/will not do/say anything without the universities say so, so him not saying anything before the university formally addresses it is not surprising.

Crowder was one of the team leaders, on the player's council and represented UT at 2014 SEC Media Days. Can't blame the players for not wanting to step up and be a leader, based on how leaders get treated.

Well, the excuse for a loss to Georgia has been practically gift wrapped and handed to the Butch apologists. The distraction of all of this will be the cause of it and it will be the fanbase to blame for fanning the flames of this rumor.
