That's the problem, they don't proactively do anything over there. They wait until a small camp fire turns into a 50 square mile forest fire before they do anything. It probably has to do with the ridiculously huge buyouts they place into these contracts.

In a perfect world this is done by the end of the week.

Either it didn't happen and all parties say so.

Or, that something happened and Crowder and his family are ok with it, wishing it didn't happen as it did, but, it is over and just wish to move on. As long as the player and his family, and the team are ok then it's squashed.

Or worst case, it happened, things are not ok, and decisions will be made concerning it.

Once again, in a perfect world, this is over one way or another at the end of the week.

Here's a question for you guys.... Football coaches are known for grabbing face masks, slapping helmets, grabbing jerseys and yanking players around ..... Should they be fired for these type actions? Assault is assault right?

For anyone interested Swain is on now and not holding much back. While he is not accusing Butch of hitting Crowder, he is pretty much saying it's up to Butch to quash the rumors at this point.

He is saying that if there are leaks coming from the players it's because of the way they are treated.

In my opinion NO, but the world we live in now says YES. The CJM situation at Florida got blown way out of proportion and all he did was have a come to Jesus meeting for unacceptable on the field behavior.

I just tuned on this morning a few minutes ago. What did he cover/release earlier in the show? He sounds out on Butch today.

Crowder has refused to block since he is been here. we should just cut ties. and he is from my area. it's like malik foreman he played at my hs. he just don't cut it.

Should they be fired for them? No.

Should they occur? No.

If that is the best that a coach can do, he is only interested in winning at any cost, not in the welfare and growth of the young men that is being asked to coach.

Fear and intimidation are not the answer when a grown man is dealing with a student-athlete.

I know that's not the popular answer but, as a coach, I would never condone one of my assistants bullying my players.

How about Crowder step up and say something without hiding behind the family wall? Instead he's letting it hang over the program while his friends and teammates suffer

Swain is pretty level headed in the whole discussion. The other guy is a self absorbed attention wh*re who spends his time pontificating about how it's "his job" to report, not to cover up (paraphrase) for UT football.

He may be reporting accurately but he is hard to listen to because he is so smug. Like a little dog with a bone. Makes you want to smack him.

You see this posted a lot when "farh Butch" comes up, who ya gonna get?

Jones is in Dooley territory in regards to replacing staff members at this point. And Im not sure he has even considered it.

I agree I think the same thing about stokes. But I will credit him with being willing to ask butch the tough questions.
