I took his response as to imply that the assertion was false.

He is arrogant. I don't mind that, just back it up on the field. The only "list" he should be worried about is the W-L lists. Imo.

That's the biggest thing he is doing that irks me. Every answer is a twist or a political answer. I want a full blown Nick Saban style we will fix this cluster and it will not happen anymore rant. Tired of coach speak.

Eyewitnesses. How often do folks actually confess or own up to their own wrongdoing? Almost never unless there's something to gain by being honest.

I wouldn't expect any of the journalists to reveal their sources, either; almost all stories are broken when a witness comes forward on the condition of anonymity.

If the journalist breaks that trust even once by naming a source, his career is essentially over because nobody will ever confide in him again.

I agree. So how can any of this move forward? All the accusations and sources are doing now is making the University look silly.

I just don't care for the publicity of this, especially considering the way the season is going.

I guess if Butch wants to shut them up, he better get to winning football games.
