Ya'll do realize this thread is coming together like the Grumor threads did?

Well I am going to take a leap here and say that since it is something that has happened many times that no one was punched in the face, just going out on a limb here.

Paying Dooley to coach the cowboys and then watching Texas Tech just walk away from Leach on an admitted lie by Craig James has exposed a very interesting loophole to that huge buyout. I don't think this has enough legs but I wouldn't be surprised if it is possibly a shot across the bow to Butch to let him know that maybe his buyout isn't as safe as he thought and he needs to get it together or find another job or someone will find dirt and destroy him. Its not exactly where you want college sports to go but things get messy when a guy like Derek Dooley and Butch Jones can talk themselves into million dollar jobs.

Are you suggesting that I did? I had no real info; I was along for the ride like most everyone else except for the occasional presentation of proof of certain things being untrue (i.e. Gruden was trying to enroll his kids at Webb and verified by Knox County Schools and there was a meeting last night at Ye Olde Steakhouse).

Before you ask, I know the owners of Ye Olde Steakhouse and Webb is private; therefore, not part of Knox County Schools for which I have a very close affiliation.

Those were good times!

No one gets a 6 year rebuild without beating quality opponents here and there. You don't get 6 years by beating up on tomato cans.

My personal favorite was the person at the airport with the insider info on the car rental for Gruden.

All I'll say is that a "....... you Butch" chant is likely to come in the Georgia game from the student section. And that first part isn't "we love". There's 20k+ pissed off, drunk college students ready to let it fly.

Also, what is the bigger disaster: CBJ's tenure here or the Pink Out that was supposed to happen last night?
