I saw two separate people mention it would come out, and neither were Steeler

I dismissed it as sour grapes, and it may still be, but Steeler isn't the type of poster searching for E-cred

Rumor that Butch punched Mack Crowder in practice. This is what caused the oline guys to temporarily quit the team in the preseason.

Also, heard another rumor that UT got a huge new donor this yr. 4th largest donor to the university. The companys name is Signix, and is owned by Jay Jumper. Know any other Jumpers?

These rumors are garbage. The first one is baseless or, at best, an exaggerated scenario (i.e., Jones may have punched him in the chest while he was in full pads trying to correct a bad habit in practice). The second may have some legs... Except Jumper seems to be phasing out of the gameplan. And even if he starts it doesn't mean anything; Kirkland still gets way more snaps!

Well I haven't taken a poll but I know a few players and ex coaches. Not one of them has said anything even remotely close to this about CBJ but they had no problem saying it about other coaches.

What exactly happened on the sideline with VFLers? I've seen several comments referencing 'something' but what actually happened?

The head coach punching a player and then getting pushed down was never a rumor that had to be dismissed.

I also doubt over a hundred 18-21yo young men watched this play out as described and mentioned it to no one

Tennessee got a 15 yard penalty for them being in the way of the Refs. If they are not where they should be, they do not need to be on the sidelines.
