Country music thread

Sadly I will have to take a year off but will make my triumphant return next year. Have to pass a couple exams for work during the first half of the year and all my extra moments are sadly devoted to studying.
We'll miss you brother, I'll order a Tough Folks for Bill in your honor. Thay way I can drink 2.

See ya down the road!

“You know that old trees just grow stronger
And old rivers grow wilder every day
Old people just grow lonesome
Waiting for someone to say
"Hello in there, hello"”

Man I still l love and miss John Prine

If something knocks “Heaven Passing Through” and “On The Red River” from the top of the list for Song of the Year, it’s going to be an absolute soul crushing banger…

I have really been enjoying the new album. So many great songs, especially the two you named.

The others are so good too. Be Here is incredible. Searching for the light has some killer lines that just floor me.

“Forgive me of my nonsense, I’m still out here chasing shadows and searching for a light I never thought would go away…” I mean just da*n

So……I’m about to begin a project on an wearhouse building just outside Chattanooga in a small town community. I’m walking through with the client. The building has been in the family for decades. They built it and ran the business there. It’s been unused for almost a decade. It has an apparent in it. In the back of the apartment is a recording studio. Leaning against the wall are around 10 framed recordings and hand written letters of thanks written to their father.

Something about a George Strait golden cassette would make me want to put that in my pocket.
Very cool stuff, thanks for sharing.
