despite the refs being horrid, a win is a win and seeing the disgust, letdown, and sheer horror on the faces of the classless alabama fans i was around, made it all the more worth it. I think it made it even more sweet than if we would have blown them out.
I shut one guy up after he kept making a fool out of himself. When they were flagged for block in the back on their punt return while we drilled the returner, he was cheering and taunting and i turned around and said a few words, then called him a jackass. There were kids present and he didn't care. He then put his hands up and said "take it easy" and didn't say another word the rest of the 4th quarter.
Other than that, I sat around some quality fans for the most part, other than the few that seemingly went to the bathroom every 5 minutes. hahaha For the first time in a few games, I was around fans that actually KNEW the game and weren't just there for the heck of it. They were as passionate as I was.
It was well worth the price of admission and being a part of "the third saturday in october" was as great as any of the other games i've been to.(98' arkansas, 01' georgia, etc.).
Now I only need to see us play Mississippi St and Auburn and I'll have us covered in the SEC.
