Yes, we can beat them. We should have beat them.

They can whip us too.

I like our chances with healthy D line and either McCoy or Gibson, ideally both, back. Truth be told we need to focus on each game as it comes. AL, Ark, OU, UF are all losable games with a sub-par effort.

Be the best version of ourselves on each game day, improve, hold to the Maxims and we could be in for a lot of fun ladies and gentlemen!
Right on my man. I came away disappointed yet really encouraged by what I saw in Joey and the pass game. If we can get and stay healthy by Bama, we could have a big season.

Yes we can and we will in Atlanta. I'm telling yall we are a DAMN GOOD team. Joey is playing great and he's still learning the playbook. He's only going to improve as the season goes along. The SEC is Dog Eat Dog this season and I believe we can make Atlanta at 10-2.

Mark my words we will be in Atlanta.
Not likely. We will lose at least 2 more games

Sure, we could beat GA in a rematch. Pretty much had them beat Saturday but decided to give them the game via failed opportunities. Kirby won't admit it, but this year's GA team has issues that time may not solve - but that's TBD. Now in a rematch we have what we had personnel wise out of the game - well, we may well lose it as well. So.... yes, it depends?

I am going to say no for two reasons and making the assumption that neither McCoy or Gibson played in a rematch. One is I think Stockton grew up in that game and he was the weakness of their offense and two we hit two 50/50 balls that I don't see happening in a rematch.

I think we are closing the gap on them talent wise and very soon should be expected to win but until we get few more recruiting cycles under our belt it is going to be hard to beat them.

Good grief this place is more bipolar than usual lately. You'd think we got blown out 44-10 with these threads. Oh course we could beat them in a rematch.

Damn near everyone had this game penciled as a sure loss preseason, me included. We take a top 5 team to OT and this place is ready to fire half the staff and burn it all down.

Some of you need to touch grass.

I initially voted "No" because I perceive Georgia as the bigger, more physical team. The 14-play drive with 13 runs convinced me that they were the better team. However, reality is that being bigger/stronger doesn't mean they are the better team. The better team is the one with the ability to score more points than their opponent, and Tennessee proved that they CAN do that against Georgia, so I'm changing my vote to "Yes".

My biggest concern with the rematch will be Georgia's ability to open up their offense due to a less hostile environment. Georgia had ZERO false starts in Neyland because they kept their offense simple. Very little motion, audibles, and hard counts. I suspect that their offense will be better in the post-season. But our defense may also be better if we have Hobbs, McCoy, and Moi. And our offense could potentially be better because in theory Aguilar will get better as he gets more familiar with the offense and SEC speed.

I lean towards no, honestly. UGA typically gets stronger and stronger as the season goes on. Early season at home was the perfect setup to beat them. Late in the year, neutral site? Idk, man.

I don't think they hit that many deep shots on them again. They would have to win a lower scoring slugfest.. I think UGA would win this matchup 70% of the time with these two current teams. Saturday was Tennessee's 30% chance.
When you play a team like Georgia that gets top 5 recruits annually, you have to beat them when they are beatable like this year. That's why this loss stung so bad because we had them beat and took the foot off the gas and allowed Georgia to come back and win. I think this Vols team is a special team with Joey running the offense. . Still it's early in the season

No clue but Kirby and Georgia wouldn't want any part of that rematch and we wouldn't either. Their QB grew up in that game. That game tying touchdown he hit was a thing of beauty and something he hadn't done all season.
