This was a close game and to coin the over used saying, “it could have gone either way”, who thinks we could win a rematch or, if we meet again in the CG or playoffs?

Not without McCoy or Gibson back in the lineup. Redmond is going to be good, but he’s still a true freshman and will continue to get exposed for the foreseeable future. Still proud of his resiliency.

Yes, we can beat them. We should have beat them.

They can whip us too.

I like our chances with healthy D line and either McCoy or Gibson, ideally both, back. Truth be told we need to focus on each game as it comes. AL, Ark, OU, UF are all losable games with a sub-par effort.

Be the best version of ourselves on each game day, improve, hold to the Maxims and we could be in for a lot of fun ladies and gentlemen!

Of course. Especially if we go for broke. When you're up on a talented team that you're 0-4 against and it's 4th and 2 from midfield be aggressive and go for it. The rewards far outweigh the consequences in situations like that, especially since the refs started cooking and helped Georgia drive and score after the punt anyway. They were on the ropes and shell-shocked after our first 3 series. We looked unstoppable. You score again and go up 28-7 and the doubt creeps in big time. I don't care how good of a game manager that Kirby is.

Yep, he will eventually be All SEC type DB but as a true freshman UGAs game plan was to throw at him and get multiple PIs which worked. It was the difference in the game.

Both teams lit each other up. Who would be more likey to make effective defensive adjustments from game 1 to game 2, Kirby or Banks?

Everyone (including Kirby" admits were the more impressive team on Saturday.

So yes, we can absolutely beat them in a rematch.

The defensive adjustments won't matter too much. Our offense is score.

The question would be who is more healthy. We had 4 defensive starters missing. I would argue McCoy, Gibson, Moi are 3 of our top 6 defenders.

will each team improve during the season? or will they become worse? Does the question assume both stay healthy or lose more players, which is more likely. Its a hypothetical that cannot be stated with certainty because of the amount of unknowns.
