4-8 seems very likely. I don?t see us beating Missouri or LSU. After those two losses, I don?t see the Vols putting it together during the last game of the season.

Butch couldn’t get 4 more wins if we had 15 more games on the schedule.

Vols are stuck in an early spring practice mode with musical chair quarterbacks and green offensive linemen. Rest of sec is in late regular season level setting offensive records and playing for bowl eligibility. All sec games are a mismatch but the team is playing hard overall - just not worth a crap.

Reminds me of Majors' first team in 1977 that went 4 - 7. Team gave effort each week but the worst team in sec by a good measure. Bill Battle would have won 1 game with that bunch. If 2017 Vols win another game I will be amazed.

If They have to depend on McBride the rest of the season then it will be extremely difficult for them to win another game.

It will absolutely suck if Vandy gives TN it's first ever 8 loss season. Hopefully TN gets the 5th win at Missouri or versus LSU.

If they finish 5-7, I hope they won't have a bowl game. I don't know if the SEC requires the teams invited to accept.

had an ass kicking defense and OL as well as Tim McGee and others.

I think the winning part of this season has come to an end. And, to me, losing 8 is disgusting. All there is left is waiting to see if Butch is going to be our coach next year, and if not, who is. I don't remember ever having a season that I couldn't wait to be over.
