I for sure thought that Hurd would go pro. Is it possible that Kamara and Kelly will be our premiere backs next year? Kamara is really good, but I think he could prove to be a first round draft pick next year.

He can go to draft this year and maybe get drafted or take a chance and stay and get more money or no money if he gets injured. I would hate to be making these choices.

He wont even get third round.

As much as I would love for him to come back he needs to go to the NFL and get his money to much risk of getting hurt.

Kamara is ready and respected enough to go now.
Hurd I think has destroyed his already weekend standing

It should depend on his draft grade. But, a lot of times it doesn't.

I say he goes regardless. He's been playing college for four years now. There are just as many unknowns next year too, were he to return. The only thing otherwise IMO is that this class is loaded with a lot of good RBs.

Running back is not our problem on offense. With Kelly, CFA, the OK kid, and at least one elite FR, we will be good at RB next season too. We need a QB who can effectively pass and an OL that can actually give him time to do so, plus open a hole. For comparison sakes, I would take an upgraded QB and OL anyday over getting Kamara back.

He gone. I'm sure after scouts saw that A&M game they were salivating over him. He needs to rest up and get paid.

I think if this year has told us anything, then he needs to go pro. He would be playing Russian roulette with his career if he didn't go pro, given the injury issue that has plagued us. It's too risky to come back imo.

The draft will be really deep at rb, with several people going ahead of him. I hope that knowing that he will be the #1 might be some sway.

Depends on what the scouts tell him but one big game isn't the greatest resume in the world. Of course he has last season's body of work too. But recent means more.

Also what do the scouts think about his recovery from knee injury? Are they concerned...is there too much risk?

Remember: Chubb 2016 isn't Chubb 2015...regrettably for him as he is a great kid and a competitor...and we may see him again in 2017. Disclaimer Georgia 2016 OL isn't Georgia 2015 OL either.

Has he really shown enough this year to warrant a high pick? I know to us fans he has but I think it depends on how he grades out. Kamara could easily stay.

Maybe. To be honest, whenever he is playing he does really well. We didn't utilize him enough imo.

AK might stick around to be the feature back next year and improve his draft stock. He also loves UT. I wouldn't blame if he went and I would certainly not be mad if he stayed. This years draft is loaded with RB's so he could go in the 4th or 5th round and be advised to stay for another year.

I think we were trying to hard to please somebody who has been threatening to leave. You never know Kamara could come back. I wouldn't be surprised. Guy has so much character man. Just like Cam Sutton.

I can agree with that. I dont think he will stay but its possible he does. Man, a backfield featuring Kamara and Kelly with CFA in the rotation? Could be scary good.

Kamara is leaving. the injury just pointed the risk of returning out to him again. he had already decided that just ensured it. short life span for running backs

Will he play in the last few games... or use the time to let his knee fully heal?

I won't be surprised if he stays. He could work his way from being a 3rd to 5th round pick to a 1st rounder next year. He only had 22 carries in the first 4 games. That is a crime. And I think he is more of a team player than Hurd.
I guess he could always take out an insurance policy. But I also wouldn't fault him for leaving.

Pro's have seen plenty of him now.

Hes got JUCO tape and more than a few highlights at Tennessee.

He's on tape and he was a captain in his 2nd year. High character guy.

4.5 guy at 215 that catches like a wr and can play wr or pr.

He will do a probably 20 or so reps of 225.

He goes before Chubb or Freeman.

Probably late 1st round.

Hurd will test well... now he needs to work on his interview skills. Has a lot of explaining to do.

It would be a grave mistake to switch positions.

So much character? He quit at Alabama remember?

Zero chance AK comes back even tho he should. Breaking in a new qb hed have a chance at SEC POY and a 1st Rd pick. Instead he will end up like Pig struggling to find his place in the league.

Jalen will be on a NFL roster as a RB this time next year. Don't let the transfer/position change nonsense fool ya.but he won't last long.AK will probably play longer but Jalens path to a contract is more clear...if that makes sense
