That is nearly the same play, reversed, we ran last year when Poole went 60 yards on Bama...

Their defensive line has had zero pass pressure this year. That's not scheming, that's a lack of ability.

UAB stopped FLA high powered offense 5 times. 3 Fg and 2 punts which averaged 29yrds.
I think our D will do just fine.

Ok, IMO I don't really think we've even opened our play book. They are watching film from our first 2 games, that were ALSO over at halftime. Dooley knows what he's doing here with the media.. He's respecting his friend as a coach and making everyone else think that we might not be prepared.

I'm nervous about this game, but its a good nervous. GO VOLS!!!!:victory:

Yes, you can. Florida will try and pressure Bray all day and force him to make mistakes. You will also see them draw their safties over top Hunter and Rogers to try and compensate for that height disadvantage. And since we haven't established a true go-to number three guy yet, that could be very effective. They will also disguise coverages that Bray probably hasn't seen yet. So yes, they can scheme.

And also, their entire damn backfield isn't 5'8". Not sure were that myth came from.

So do I. They just have to square up/make open field tackles and keep Demps/Rainey from hitting the outside.

And I hope really REALLY hope Poole gets back to that form, but I haven't seen him maneuvering much to get to the hole so far this year.

UF is all hype this year. They are ranked on their pedigree, not their play so far this year. Our team ain't buying into the hype.

We haven't established a third go to guy yet? We have 2 tight ends, 2 full backs, and 3 backs out of the back field. Not to mention Zach who caught a TD last week.

Dooley is pushing Poole to drive hard into the hole and put his pads down. He said so yesterday in his interview. He is looking for Poole to consistently get 4-5 yards per carry instead of the 1-2 yards we got if any last year mixed in with some very inconsistent big plays.

Last year we had Jones, Moore, and Stocker. All three were very big cogs to the offense. I understand Moore/Jones may not be as elite as Hunter/Rogers, but defenses still had to respect them. And when they did, Stocker (a very good tight end) was there underneath.

This year we really only have Rogers and Hunter for the offense to zero in on. I am really hoping Rivera, Rogers, or Dallas steps up and takes some attention away from the big two. In fairness, Dallas is a freshman, Rogers has been dinged up, and Rivera is new to being the primary tight end. Things could unfold nicely (and it hasn't been necessary yet), but we still really don't have a consistent/reliable third threat.
