What is the latest on guys like Robert Nelson and Jerrod Askew? I met Nelson last year and he seemed like a good kid. Are they still on the roster? Sorry If I missed some old news.

i'm sure i read that Askew is gone. Not sure about Nelson

Nelson made a few plays in the game. Askew is gone. One thing, anybody else notice Daniel Brooks playing in the halftime flag game? A little odd to me. He got on the field more then, than he did in school.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at OLB in the fall and we need bodies there.

Definitely. If Janzen comes back then I don't think depth at safety is that big of an issue anymore. Sapp is bigger than most the linebackers we have right now and I would imagine he is faster than most of them. You also have to think he could cover a running back fairly easy in passing situations.

I think he could make the transition and be a really good player there.... if he wants it...
