Could Bryson Eason be our next Henry To'oto'o??

Also if you remember before DB returned in game 3, the defense in those 1st games was rarely lined up when the offense would snap the ball. Ga St QB in particular took huge advantage of this on us. You middle LB is the QB of the defense and HTT was not ready for that role at this level. He will get there!

No he wasn't quite ready. Especially the 1st game. But he adapted pretty quickly.

I think To'o is a spitting image of Donte' Hightower when he was a freshman at Alabama. Big Hank has All-American written all over him I believe and that bodes well for our defense as an All-American MLB almost guarantees success on that side of the ball.
Yeah its bc when u have an AA MLB u usually have some good dudes playing in front of him to allow him to excel. Hightower had like 50 first round picks playing on their dline . If we do half as well up front as those guys did Henry T will be a 1st round draft pick

He had the same thing at New England as well.

And I have to be honest, the way our Dline was playing down the stretch you have to think if we find that other MLB (Eason?) Then our defense will be rolling!

Eason may be good but Henry T is a special player. You can see it already the kid is destined for big things if he can stay injury free.

I'm excited to have both and then growing together as a potential dynamite tandem.
Or maybe its Crouch there?

I wonder if JJ Peterson can stay healthy enough to really gain some muscle this off-season. He's the wildcard imo.

Agreed.

I just think Eason is a different player from HT, hell HT is so far ahead on the field speed and just mentally recognizing where the play is going. There's raw speed and there's mental recognition; freshmen just aren't supposed to do the things HT can do already.

He's special for sure.

Man I hope he stays healthy and just gets better and better.
Had we not signed Eason or Joseph, I stil would have been excited about our LBs in 2020. French has the alpha personality in him.

Thats what im banking on. We may not have 1 dominant Dlineman but we got 5 or 6 good ones. The defense should be really good next year

Why does he need to trim down or switch positions? Never change.

Endurance and strength.
He would lose extra body fat...get faster with more endurance. Physically stronger as well because of added muscle and be a more active and effective player.

I would say 255 is where he needs to be.
