Could be on our way to the west...

Forgive me if this has already been posted. A Mizzou buddy of mine brought this to my attention. This is the new wall mount in the Mizzou athletic dining hall. It could be nothing, but thought I would share.

It's because with the logos that they chose to use, UT and Vandy are both wider than high. If they had both on the top row, the spacing on the bottom would be a lot wider. We take up a rectangular area of space, while the others are more square.

And I know that the camera angle warps it a bit, but still, it's the result of an art major going for what works from a design sense.

Yeah the Rebels dropped Colonel Red as a mascot and voted on the Louisiana Black bear as their mascot. I remember reading an article on ESPN about it. I'm pretty sure that their helmets even had him on the side and now it just has OLE MISS on the sides.
As an Ole Miss student I can confirm this. Whatever it is, it's not official.

the powers at Alabama decide which teams will be in the east and west---they dictate the rules.

Unfortunately... Col. Reb is far superior to any other contrivance you Hotty Toddy types could ever come up with. I actually have my mother's 1946 Ole Miss yearbook and it's the most gloriously politically incorrect thing you could imagine! BTW.... UT beat the Rebs 18-14 that year...

Since Vandy is further West and according to this pic they would be in the East, I think this is nothing.
