Dobbs gives the answer away

Totally agreed.

If he's ever a NFL starter or gets meaningful snaps then viewers will be informed aproximately 50,000 times of how well he looked when thrown into the fire as a true freshman against bamma.

Both Peterman and Ferguson put up really good stats after they left UT.

Begs the question, was it due to lack of QB development, lack of QB coach, or less competition?

It could be do to the fact that UT usually plays one QB at a time and some guys didn't see enough quality playing time. Doesn't mean that they are losers, just needed a different opportunity.

You do know that Mr and Ms Dobbs had requested a redshirt year for Joshua correct??

I know right. When you're JD, people listen to your parents. They obviously know what they are doing.

Space what?

But Mr Dobbs, Josh will play in the NFL.

Think how good he would have been at football if he had taken Business.

Go VFL!

Much less competition. Better system that suited the QBs strengths.

I mean Peterman had average to below average stats as a starter at Pitt.

Ferguson played an even weaker schedule than Peterman. His stats were much better but again, weak competition.

The fact is neither one of those guys were SEC QBs.

So let me ask you this, Pitt played UNC, Clemson (who they beat and Peterman was crazy good), Miami, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Oklahoma State. So really, is the competition really all that much different with how down the SEC is?? I'm not sure you could make a legitimate argument.

Peterman did damn good against some good competition. Good on him. But don't act like it was due to "much less competition"
