I did not claim he was stupid for 2005 negatively affecting him. Although I should have, failure should drive a person to push harder.

You were implying that since he was getting patted on the back so much for dropping passes that his level of personal responsibility was very low. So I stated if he felt this way, then stupid him.

I never mentioned anything about Anderson's responsibility. We have coaches that are paid to motivate players and teach them to perform on Saturday. They didn't do a great job with Cory Anderson or Chris Hannon. I think both of those guys could have been excellent players for UT. Instead they both had flashes of greatness, but ultimately didn't leave much of a legacy.

And I had neve mentioned 2005 negatively affecting him, as you claimed I did. So we are even.

Yea they did not do a great job. Neither did the players. Anyone that has a terrific chance at such a great profession needs to bear some personal responsibility.

I had no idea he was even on an NFL roster.

....must've been a favor from the mob or something. But in all seriousness, our players don't seem to develop like they use to. Jason Witten should've dominated the SEC

No, he had good workouts. A lot of guys get NFL shots just because of athletic ability. That running back the Titans drafted is a good example.

The idea of moving him from DT to FB was bad. He has stone hands. He had no future as a FB.

After his 2004 season, he was being called one of the best players on the team. He blocked well and caught some important passes that year.

I think that was certainly a factor, especially in 2005. I don't know for sure. I also in 2006 think Cutcliffe's scheme didn't really play to his strengths. I don't blame Cutcliffe for his design, though.

Exactly how do you design plays for someone who can't catch the ball with any consistency?

You could teach him to catch like they taught the wide receivers pre-2006. If he couldn't catch you could always just use him in a power running game. UT didn't have one of those last year. That's why I don't blame Cutcliffe for not utilizing him.
