thanks to Bostonvol for catching the error in yesterdays column and sour grapes to me for posting a comment without checking it's veracity.

"His actual record in SEC Road night games is 5-6 in SEC road night games. His 4 of 5 were Kentucky or Vandy ... The one win was Oklahoma last season ... He does have the loud win last season at Oklahoma and has yet to beat Florida there (day or night). Then again up until Saturday nobody wins at Florida from UT. That number in yesterday's blog was a keystroke error from hades or I need to lay out sometimes. Probably the latter. But I get up every day in a prolific way and try ..."

Very few coaches have a winning record playing on the road at night. It’s a prime time game and usually against very good coopetition. Add in a drunk home crowd and it’s a tough game to win.

No UT fan could look at the number and think it was valid. Why post something so ridiculous unless you're just going for clicks? Tony is not usually stupid so this was likely trolling
Just for the record I dont give a flying fook about getting clicks. You yourself said Tony is not usually stupid so I took his word for it without checking. As a former POTUS once said, "trust but verify."

Tony cares about clicks. Did you really think Heupel had lost 18 road night games? Do you watch UT football?

I don’t particularly even understand why this is thought of as an issue. Other than guys like Saban and Kirby, you’re not going to find many coaches with a good record in conference night games on the road. Here are the night game road records of coaches who were hired between 2020 and 2022, as you can tell, it’s not great.

Kiffin 5-4
Drinkwitz 3-2
Beamer 3-6
Lea 2-4
Pittman 2-5
Napier 0-5
