Coronavirus (No politics)

You're going to have trouble backing up your definition of "vaccine." By that definition, there has never been a true vaccine. The polio vaccine has never been 100%.

C'mon man.

People are popping up everywhere daily testing positive for COVID who have been vaccinated. You have to try really, really hard to find someone who's gotten an MMR vaccine or Polio vaccine who has contracted those illnesses.

Not to mention, not giving them to people under 12. We inoculate newborns for all kinds of things, but we're not giving this to children under 12. And what's the magical reason for the age used as "12". If I was born on 1/1/10, it's not proven safe to take on 12/31/21, but on 1/1/22, I'm good.

I have been vaccinated for plenty of things and believe in vaccines. But, I've got questions and a lot of those questions have fuzzy answers.

Bama's football team is at 85%. Sorry to disappoint.
Sorry to dissapoint, but higher rates of unvaxxed folks around you increases the odds of even the fully-vaxxed of getting it.

I have zero doubt all major programs will be 80-90% vaxxed by week 1. After all, this is a job, money, fame...plenty of motivation for all...but it's the people around them that could affect them. Look at NC State baseball, many of the affected were vaxxed. Just takes 1 and those in less vaxxed 3rd world countries (Alabama, Mississippi, etc) will be at greater risk.

It is the residual leftover effects of covid19
that are.dangerous to younger folks.Lung problems, kidney problems, where the big settles.in your body can affect you for years. Is that possibility worth not taking two shots? If so,then fire in the hole!

Because the diseases got eradicated due to the vaccines. Of course you don't know anyone who contracted polio, because it's been decades since anyone in the developed world has come into contact with it.

Because we care about our grandparents whose odds are nowhere near 98%.
But yet the vaccine don’t stop you from getting it. So in essence if you get it then you can still pass it on to try grandparents rather they been vaccinated or not. I read everyday where someone was fully vaccinated but yet still got it and are symptomatic.

If the NCAA were sane, only unvaxxed or symptomatic athletes would ever be tested. And if positive, they'd be held out while everyone else plays.

You are exponentially less likely to contract it or transmit it if vaccinated. If the standard for vaccine must be 100% efficacy, then we should stop giving out every single one and just let the diseases come back.

Because it's a real vaccine.

Again, if you have polio. I'm not getting it. I've been vaccinated. Whether or not you're an "anti-vaxer" is not going to matter.

Again, you are wrong that the polico vaccine is a guarantee. MMR, polico, flu, chicken pox, and on and on. They are incredibly effective; none are perfect. No matter how long you argue this point you will still be wrong.

Can you provide a link to any of that?

VAERS database records more deaths following vaccine than Covid deaths for the second consecutive week

Vaers is the CDC database for information pertaining to all vaccinations. Here is an article that references VAERS . You can also go directly to the VAERS website and conduct research. However, it’s not an easy site to navigate.

Also, I’m neutral on the vaccination. Just believe we have the right to know all the facts about a vaccination without politics or personal beliefs being shoved down your throat from one side or the other.

Anyone goes to Florida without having covid immunity or fully vaccinated is taking their life in their hands.
6 people got it at the job I am on including myself.
I had 1 vaccine and was getting my second when I got infected. 1 person I know of was very close to a ventilator. He is out but will be on oxygen for a couple months if not the rest of his life.

I had a guy at work get it after his first shot too but it wasn't so bad for him.

Right now I believe Mizzou and Arky are hot spots for the virus. LA county just made face diapers mandatory again in public places.

Surprisingly, the Active Duty Military only have 70% vaccination rate.

I still view it as a personal choice and respect those that don't get it. I think more will get vaccinated now that FDA have fully approved Pfizer and Moderna vaccines (as opposed to just temporary emergency approval).

Not saying that either. I’m simply saying is that everyone has the right and should have the right make there own decisions regardless who likes it pr dont

The VAERS database is any and all reports regardless of verification. It has been abused by anti-vaxxers for years. At one time there was an entry for a teenage girl who claimed she became pregnant after a flu vaccine despite being a virgin.

The database on its own is evidence of nothing because it isn't verified.

As of 12 July, Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) had 6,079 reports of death following 334 million COVID mRNA doses given (0.0018%.) Review of records and autopsy data has shown no causal link to the vaccines between December 2020 and July. Note this is death only, not adverse events such as anaphylaxis or myocarditis.

It’s a government ran database and you requested a link. It’s quite obvious you believe your opinion and your research is the truth. That’s fine with me. I was just providing a link. Have a great night.

Moderna and Pfizer: about 1 in 20 vaccinated get the virus (unless you play baseball for NC State). That number adds up.

It is also know that at some point the virus will mutate enough that a booster vaccine will be needed.
