Corey Miller: "We (are) a family no matter what."

Did thousands of people worship you, and put you on a pedestal.

Didn't think so.

Do my donations and ticket purchases help pay their education, the same one that cost me $100k? I think so.

Therefore, they need to respect and appreciate the opportunity they've been given and be mindful of who it's coming from.

We have a right to post our opinions as much as anyone.Corey Miller needs to get over it.A real leader would set his team straight and not sugar coat what they did.If it wasn't for the fans Corey Miller would not have the one of the best facilities in the nation to practice in.The fans spend alot of money going to home games.Crap! I use to spend alot going to away games. We are the Volnation. So what ever happens with the team.We have a right to comment on it.Go Vols.

He's just laying down the rules for his FB friends for his wall posts. He's not talking about this board.

I really don't think he meant it as a slight against the fans in general. Just that he actually knows the guys personally.

If you attend a university, you don't view classmates and student the same as you view your friends.

He is talking about his page, so I can understand why he would be upset about it. I still don't think fans are outsiders though. One day these players will be outside that locker room too, but they will still want to be treated as insiders.

People who support Army Rangers 100% (or Navy S.E.A.L.'s, or...etc.) are still outsiders to them and always will be. It's a team thing.

Corey is right. The only people who are not outsiders are the players and the coaches. Some fans just don't understand that.

You would have to be stupid not to understand this. The fans are your extended family, kind of like cousins, aunts and uncles. The team is like your brothers, the core group of the family. You will defend the core group against anyone.

I am okay with that.

And UT fans are outsiders when he is talking about his family of players. Unless you put on the T and run through it - you are an outsider.

Thta's the GOD's Honest Truth...Unless you go to 6 am workouts and classes and two days and then put on in Neyland, then you have nothing to do with this prog. Buying tickets and cheering doesn't win games.

Anyone who wants to bash Corey for taking up for his team, please find another team and never come back. Stop stalking the players on FB and Myspace anyway, get a job or a hobby

It's not stalking when they reply to your posts. I truly think I have gained a friend. I know he wasn't talking about me.

Talk to your family Corey. Talk to them like a "Dutch Uncle", grab them by the throat and tell them not to be such idiots. Get a kangaroo court together with just teammates and lay down the team law. They have soooooo much to live for being as talented as they are. They don't have to prove their manhood in a bar brawl to be a man. I know because I did some stupid things at your age and was extremely lucky that I didn't get caught because I wasn't in the spotlight like your teammates. Speak some peer sense to them.

I'm sure the guys on the team feel like they're under assault due to all of the media frenzy and just feel like closing ranks. I can't blame them for that.
