I'm not saying we are going to win all these games but wait until november when the competition goes down dramatically and Patterson really lights it up.

At least someone on the roster has circled the game....glad it is the best player on the team instead of Palardy :eek:lol:

Why isn't every game circled? I've never understood this mentaility because inherent in the concept is that you've been holding something back until this particular game. I thought the idea was to give your blood and guts every game, every play.

it'll be all said and done after this season.

Depends on who he talks to. If he gets advice regarding the big picture, someone may tell him "you've got potential to be the best player in college football. Lets get all-SEC this year, get your route running perfected, and see if we can't get you in Heisman talk next year".

Would be a good call IMO. But then I'm a biased fan who really really wants CP to stay

A special opponent or circumstance can sometimes make you dig a little deeper. It's not a real hard concept to grasp is it?

He's from Rock Hill so he circled the game because he is pumped to play in front of a lot of family/friends. Patterson is my favorite vol because he goes hard everytime he is on the field. I am glad I bought his 84 jersey and I REALLY hope he stays.

If he projects in the first round, going to the NFL would be a much better call than trying to win the Heisman.

I don't disagree, just hope he realizes that once he declares and gets an agent, it's over.. U can never play college ball again..

I wish we had the staff to coach him to where we're able to see him light it up against the top competetion.

That's kind of a big assumption. Dude is a beast.

I agree he's a monster. Probably my favorite player on this squad, but I could make plenty of arguments that he could be a first rounder, and as many arguments that he could be a late rounder. You just never know.

With all the negative press approaching a game i doubt the team wants to play hard and it will not be the coaches fault:cray::cray:

He very well could have had it circled for a long time. I doubt that it will matter if he did. Patterson will struggle to do anything unless the OC/QB get him the ball. Was it not just last week that our OC said he MUST find a way to get him more touches? That worked out to be LESS touches. Maybe he can run back 3-4 kicks. If he is hoping for CJC to call his number, he may be drafted and in the 3rd week of spring training before that happens.

Do you think he has been holding something back? Some games do mean more than others to these kids for more reasons than you or I can count but that doesn't mean they don't leave it all on the field. I can't say for sure but I am guessing this one is circled because he is from SC and he has probably been receiving flak for not going to SC or Clemson. I will not pretend to have played college ball but I was decent in high school and I wanted the team my cousin played for more than you can imagine. Have you ever played ball? If so, did you not want a particular team more than others? Looking forward to you response sir.

By far the best, craziest athlete ive seen on the field. He has the best field vision on the team in the past 5 years at least. Wish we could keep him for another year!

So do you already have the Troy game circled?

Florida, Bama, and USC lite are circled on mine. Everybody wants to win every game. Some you want to win to improve your record and others you want to win just to watch the other team suffer.
