Best player in the open field I've ever seen at Tennessee.

You probably aren't old enough to have watched Dale Carter...but he was actually as good as CP as a returner...and was a better all around ball player. Led the country in KR average, repeat 1st team All American, hard hitting safety and shut down corner in the NFL. He was the fastest player and best athlete on the field every time he stepped on it in college...even against our nemesis of the time gey.tors. Was a perennial Pro Bowler in the NFL as well. Deion Sanders got more publicity, and was truly an amazing 2 sport athlete, but DC was the better defensive back IMO.

Warrior is his son, and has played well recently. His dad was flat out amazing...everyone in Neyland held their breath when the other team kicked off , there was always a chance he would take it to the house.

Wish his son had that kind of speed last night on that interception

I agree with alot of what you said, but you lost me when you mentioned him and Prime Time in the same sentence. I grew up a 49ers fan Ftr

Wasn’t the gripe that he couldn’t learn routes? Apparently, he figured it out!
He is such a weapon on returns, he would play anyway..

Kind of like the guy that can hit major league pitching for .300, but otherwise can't stick his thumb up his butt, he'll make a living in the majors...

I know the Bear's offense was pretty bad, but Patterson accounted for 1/3 of the production plus the 104 yd return.

Guy was on it tonight...wish the rest of the team would have shown up.

one of my all-time favorite Vols to watch play, that guy is a baller, always exciting when he gets his hands on the ball with his skill, quickness & speed,
reminds me of Gayle Sayers elusiveness

He has a unique ability to juke people while barely changing his direction. I think he'd be better than Reggie Bush or Chris Johnson as a RB.
