Cord cutter question

No doubt yttv has gotten to $65 but the unlimited DVR, I mean and literally every sports channel you need minus sec(alternative) plus getting the Big10 network is a major bonus..our spectrum bill for the tv was $130 prior so we are still paying half

It was inevitable. I will say though, even with the cost increase my YTTV is still about $50 cheaper than what I’d pay for comparable cable. It’s not the deal that it once was, but it’s still a great deal.

$54.99 on Hulu for sec games dont seem like cord cutter options..just saying
True cord cutting is getting something like Hydrogen Tv which is the IPTV I currently use and cinema APK for movies and tv shows..... The rest are going to be just like streaming cable tv

It doesn't take a clairvoyant to see that before long streaming will be as expensive as cable/satellite. I had DirecTV about a year ago where I was paying $75/month. When my promo ran out they jacked it up to $130/month and wouldn't continue to match the $75. I still consider Hulu at least a $20/month savings.

One benefit to me to streaming over DirecTV/cable is you're not charged for a box for every TV. Extra box fees every month for a few TVs adds up.

THIS!!! Stay away from providers that require their equipment in your house. Comcast for instance has their newer boxes which doubles as a feed for their wifi network. You end paying whatever they charge you and then you power their wifi network free for them.

Just changed to Hulu Live. It has been working well so far. YTTV is higher than regular cable now
Yea i dropped dish a few months back as well have hulu only. Its good but I’m afraid over time they will become just like the others & screw us over with tons of bs channels which will jump subs $ up

I can't wait for Starlink to be widely avalable. Not necessarily the content provider ya'll are talking about, but, who knows? It will be a game changer.

I haven’t yet found any SEC alternate channels.

If you have YTTV, you can log into the ESPN app on Roku or Smart TV and watch anything that's on SEC-N once you validate your YTTV subscription. I usually do that anyway even with SEC-N available on YTTV.

I use YouTube TV and really like it. And it's only 50 something dollars a month. It doesn't have the SEC alternate network but everything else.

Yeah man, this has been the best option for me for about 18 months now. It's about 60 for me. They go up some every time they add channels but the sports channels provided are amazing. I logon to ESPN using my YouTube account when I need to access the alternate channel.

Well we at the time were in year 3 with spectrum so any and every discount was gone so our bill was 185 w/bundle once we canceled the bundle our internet went up as well so it was 95/month but now that I’ve moved out of state I have ALLO which is amazing and only 70/month(100% fiber and fast as hell)

Nice. I dont have any other options for internet here so if I drop the cable service I'm still going to have to pay for their expensive internet. Getting YTTV would basically be breaking even. I'm paying $160 now. It was 155 but I just got the redzone package.

I hear that a firestick and ology tv will get you about 3000 channels for less than $15 a month... Not that I condone such a thing... :)

Much cheaper iptv solutions also but ology is very solid (or so I hear...) get a couple of services to make sure your covered.
