I like it. Peyton had him hired in Denver as an assistant, so he's got Peyton's endorsement, all academic SEC 3 years in a row, tons of NFL experience, and one of our own. It makes too much sense, so it won't happen. BTW, he's currently OC for the Detroit Lions.

He was the most popular kid on the team when he was here. He was worshiped on campus. He may come if we come calling. Riding in on his horse like a football messiah here to rescue his family.

I like it. Buy 2 1-way (MI to TN and TN to MI) tickets. But, give him another year in Det, for 2 years of playoffs experience, THEN 2018.

He's damaged goods. He has a criminal record. The boosters would never go for it.

No doubt there's more of a chance of that happening than Peyton being our coach.

When Jim Bob comes marching home again, Hurrah! Hurrah!

He's set himself up for a bright future. Best way to dim that is to return to this negative cesspool.

Cooter would probably be a good college coach. Interesting thought, he appears to be a good offensive mind. Would need to bring in some good recruiters and position coaches especially on the defensive side. GBO!!!!

And all the unrealistic fans who know next to nothing about how football works off the field are coming out of the woodwork

Listened to an interview with Matthew Stafford, he absolutely loves Cooter

Ask his wife.

He will be a NFL HC soon.. Not going to happen

I don't understand why people keep claiming this...I'm happy for him but they aren't exactly tearing it up on offense...in fact they are worse...yet we are 2nd in scoring with Debord but some hate him

Detroit stats

passing rushing points
2013 280 112 24.7 13th
2014 252 89 20.1 22nd
2015 262 83 22.4 17th
2016 248 81 22.5 18th
