After work recently, the traffic on the interstate was backed up. So I decide to stop at Chik Fil A and wait for the congestion to end
I noticed a crowd of 8 people eating 3 tables away from me. I recognised him as Richard Petty.
I was headed from work so I had my Army uniform on. When the group left, Petty stopped and talked to me for a while
I didn't stop him but he came to talk to me
Then he climbed in a black Ford truck and drove off
It was funny because the young people at the Chik Fil A realized that he was someone of significance but they had no idea who he was.
