Cool Experience Tonight

I wanted to share my experience from tonight. It happened at the basketball game, but I am always in here so I wanted to tell my football brothers. I have never seen a game at Thompson Boling. My son and I were going to the TN/MO game and we saw we could get tickets cheap, we decided to go to the Bball game and stay the night and go to the football game. We didn't realize how much easier it is to navigate to a basketball game instead of the football game so we got there early. We had two UT guys to come up to us and tell us we were selected to be courtside fans of the game. We got to eat before the game and at halftime in the Ray Mears dining room at the table next to Dave Hart and Lamar Alexander. We got to walk on the court before the game and have our picture made. We also got box seats near the court and we were featured on the jumbotron. Pretty cool for a 9 year old and this 36 year old didn't mind either.

Congrats! Sounds like an awesome experience!
In middle school me and my buddy /my parents were selected to be fans of the game at a Seatle Supersonics/Bulls exhibition game in Memphis at the Pyramid, got court side seats ,food, autographs, souvineers, Shawn Kemp fell on us and gave my buddy a sweat band. Awesome experience. To bad Jordan was playing baseball!
Great your 9yo could have a lot of fun!

In all seriousness though, glad you and your son got to experience that. Sounds awesome! Hope i can score some courtside seats one day!

Made a buddy feel like that last bball season , scored private box seats for the C-USA tourney, full of food and beer , he called me last nite askin if we were goin back !
I was like I wish !

Just watched 30/30 Jordan rides the bus!
Dude is a fans player! He stopped in Birmingham in the middle of the road in his red vette to sign a kids autograph !
Would love to meet him!
