:crazy::crazy:If you want to make your complaints on Currie effective, why not direct them directly to the UT Chancellor Beverly Davenport, who hired Currie.

I called Davenports office. Actually got a live person. I talked to Alex Wheeler. He said he's taking note of all calls and passing them along to davenport. He said they are definitely hearing from a lot of people, voicing their displeasure of Currie. I asked him if it was like hundreds, or thousands; he said all in all, thousands are having their voices heard, but not even hundreds on the phone.


We need to go over Curries head, which is over Davenport.

Send and e-mail and overload the system. I think she might possibly replace Currie with Philip Fulmer and restore respectability to UT and the athletic program.Suggest that she do so.

Just emailed the following to the chancellor:

Please immediately terminate the employment of the current athletic director, John Currie. I cannot fathom how anyone can accept the possibility that the head football coach, the very face of the University of Tennessee, may have to answer a press conference question containing the words "molestation," "child rape," "pedophile," or "Sandusky." It matters not whether Schiano had any knowledge, as sworn testimony states, of the wrong-doing. Guilt by association is still guilt. It may be horribly unfair, making him yet one more victim of Sandusky, but this guilt, while not currently of a legal nature, renders him unfit to be the head coach of a major university, or any university, frankly.

I cannot overstate the naivety demonstrated by Currie in considering Schiano for this position. Please remove him, post-haste. As you are the one responsible for the hiring of John Currie, I urge you to give strong consideration to whether this episode is deserving of your own resignation. I believe it is. Our beloved university has been grossly harmed by this. Please do the honorable things necessary to begin the healing process. Almost none of the fan base has any confidence in Currie. I am unsure if a majority has faith in you.

I called the Presidents office and asked why Davenport and Currie are still employed. The phone was answered quickly by a human.

And here we are once again trying to get rid of someone; we have had a lot of well-justified practice at that recently. Let us know when it's time to convince a realistic candidate that s/he should come here. Thanks.

Call davenport.
Be heard.

Voice your displeasure with currie, haslam, and all that are involved in the absolutely unacceptable decisions being made on the hill.

I'll answer that for you...when we replace the AD.

Who is going to come here with a lame duck AD? which is what Currie is.

No way he recovers from this.
