"constitutional tipping point"

What's amazing is how the left in Congress is cheering on the usurping of Congressional power by the POTUS.

No need for impeachment - just stand up and defend the role of Congress.

It's staggering how Congress is just rolling over for this. They will rue the day they let this happen.

I would say the constitutional tipping point happened during the Civil War. Suspension of habeus corpus and false imprisonment of journalists and politicians who opposed the war is Soviet Union stuff. Ever since then the Federal Government has known they can get away with whatever they want, under the right circumstances.

I would say the constitutional tipping point happened the moment the constitution was signed. America has never practiced what it has preached.

At least we've been doing a much better job in recent decades. Still not great, but better.

The members of congress appear to never learn from history. This will come back to bite the Dems square on the butt. The GOP will regain power back at some point.

If anyone in the House had any stones they would start the impeachment process. They don't, so all they will do is whine

Let the Republicans keep the House and win the Senate and then do nothing and I will agree with you. Right now, with Dingy Harry in control, it would be a meaningless gesture.

New LG troll. Welcome to the board.

What grounds would you argue? Seriously, what high crime or misdemeanor do you think they can prove so that 2/3 of the Senate will vote to have Obama removed?

If you admit that it likely wouldn't succeed in the removal of Obama then what is the point? The only way that would make any sense would be if the Republican party wanted to make sure Hillary wins the 2016 election.

You had me until Hillary. She will not win. I'll be surprised if she runs.
