Given that Patterson has proven he is an elite receiver, and could have gone to any D1 school in the nation out of his JUCO school, why did he come to a school that already had 2 elite receivers? Common sense dictates that he would normally have a tough time busting into the starting rotation given our WR talent level.

My belief: Dooley knew Rogers was on a super short leash, and probably wouldn't make it through the year (recurring failed drug test, bad attitude, etc.), and quietly assured Patterson that he would be a starter.

Yes, I know he'd be a starter in a 3-wide set, but thats spreading the ball out alot.

And yes, I believe in bigfoot, the loch ness monster, UFOs and that republican candidates have a chance this year.

my theory: the staff did an excellent job recruiting CP so he chose to attend UT. I doubt Dooley told Patterson that he would be able to start because da'rick was going to be dismissed. Patterson would probably take that as an insult to his talent.

Morph: now a political thread.....BTW I always chuckle when people 'think' they know what other people say in private conversations. Personally, I think the OP asked his wife for eggs AND ham this AM, not Pancakes, I just know this to be fact. Believe me.

Who knows but CP did say he wanted to come here becuase he could learn from two great receivers. CP is an elite athlete but not an elite WR atm. He will get there.

Not with the left-winged media not telling the truth & covering up things to make the President look good.

Yeah, like the Repubs are all saints and fault free. Uh-huh. Both are just as guilty of manipulating the press and information that goes to the public. If one isn't doing it, the other one is. People who are arrogant, are brainwashed, or too ignorant to see this will spew the usual excuses and justification for their mindset as usual.

You obviously did not know that him and Worley were teammates at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill. They won a state championship together, and most people believe he came just to be with Worley and he probably knew with Bray and his rocket slinging arm that he could rack up tons of yards.

Well you are a Republican so you are prone to believing outlandish conspiracy theories. You sound exactly like some one who would vote Republican. Not an ounce of reality in your thoughts.
